Seniors

Curtis Jones Jr. has made it a priority to support seniors in the community. He created the "Be Sure Before You Open The Door Program", which established a hotline for seniors to call to protect themselves from individuals posing as utility workers. He has also prioritized seniors in the Basic Home Repairs Programs, ensuring that they are moved to the front of the list for necessary home repairs. Jones has hosted events catered to making senior living easier, including Senior Voucher Resource Fairs, Senior Septa IDs, the Aging in the New Age Summit, and OEM Preparedness Workshops. He has also sponsored hearings to examine the safety of senior homes and the guardianship process.
